Farewell Chicago

Chicago SkylineWe have exactly two weeks before we head out on our 12 – 15 month adventure around the world.  Where has time gone?  We have been planning this trip for almost 10 months and it is crazy to think that it is finally here.  Greg and I have spent the last few weeks running around the city getting the final details put together.  I am happy to say that we are almost there.  Who knew this much thought and work goes into planning a trip like this?  I have to give a shout out to Greg for that…without him I would be completely lost and not prepared.  So thank you Greg for your diligent planning and saving us some serious $$$ along the way!

Greg and I will be using this blog as a way to communicate about experiences abroad.  We will post often to keep you updated on our whereabouts and what we have been doing.  So please follow!
Greg and I will be spending our last two weeks packing up our apartment, finalizing details of our trip, spending time with friends, and making quick trips to Kansas and Ohio to say farewell to our families.  It will be an emotional final two so I would like to use this opportunity to say thank you to some people:besties
Thank you Cate, Melissa, Heather, and Amy for being the best friends a girl could ever ask for.  You have made the last 7 years some of the best of my life.  You have each made such an impact on me and I look forward to many more memories in the future.

Thank you to my parents for being so supportive of us and our decision to travel the world.  I am going to miss talking to my mom daily… she is honestly my best friend!  And I am still my daddy’s little girl.  I love you both dearly!
